Sienna Spiro covers the July 2026 edition of Music Week

Sienna Spiro is on the cusp of superstardom – and Music Week is delighted to be able to bring you the remarkable story behind the UK’s next big act.

For our July cover story, we meet the viral singer on the eve of her debut album Visitor to tell the story behind the breakthrough of the new British artist everyone is talking about. Alongside Spiro, co-manager Miriam Maslin, Capitol Music Group chairman and CEO Tom March and the company’s president Lillia Parsa join in our conversation to reveal the mechanics behind what is already a colossal campaign.

Together, they celebrate the BRITs Critics’ Choice nominee’s viral Spotify Top 10 global chart hit, Die On This Hill, explain why the team behind her are so “bullish”, and reveal their recipe for success. Meanwhile, the candid, biscuit-loving Spiro goes deep on her starry eyed ambition, the influence of jazz and Frank Sinatra, why she thinks AI music is “s**t” and much more besides.

Next up, in another huge exclusive, Tom March takes more time out of his busy schedule to sit down for The Music Week Interview. The Capitol Music Group chairman and CEO reflects on two decades at UMG and how he is now living the American dream in LA. The former Polydor co-president, whose roster now comprises The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Spiro, Doechii and more, talks reshaping Capitol’s identity, how to break acts in the modern landscape, and why he will always remember his roots.

Another exclusive this month is an interview with Raw Power Management, who are celebrating their 20th anniversary. We meet founder Craig Jennings and freshly appointed co-CEOs Matt Ash and Don Jenkins in New York City to learn about their work with rock and metal’s most thrilling acts, as we join them on the road with Bring Me The Horizon. But, as we learn, Raw Power is much less concerned about representing certain genres. Instead, the team reveals how the company continues to be open to “anything” as it looks ahead to the next decade and beyond.

Meanwhile, BBC Radio 1Xtra’s Remi Burgz toasts her big win for Radio Show at this year’s Music Week Awards. The DJ opens up about the “sheer and utter shock” of her victory, the path to landing her BBC gig and why she feels it’s her mission to spread joy.

Completing this month’s features line-up is Linda Coogan Byrne, CEO and founder of the Why Not Her? campaign. The publicist, author and plugger writes about the positive impact that her report into “gendered gatekeeping” in Irish and British radio and festival programming has had – and lays out what still needs to be done.

In The Big Story, we get the inside details about the development of Bristol’s first arena, the 20,000-capacity Aviva Arena, and YTL Live CEO Andrew Billingham’s ambitions for the project. Also in news, Townsend Music’s Bruce McKenzie explains how the D2C specialist is driving physical sales and fan engagement, with backing from parent company Artone. In Spotlight, outgoing PRS For Music CEO Andrea Czapary Martin reflects on the performing rights organisation’s latest results.

Elsewhere, superstar-in-waiting Bella Kay stars in On The Radar, while trip-hop pioneer Tricky features in Incoming. In Hitmakers, Gabe Simon, co-writer and co-producer of Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide, tells us how the “kinda folk, but punk” song about a friendship came to life.

Rounding out this issue's line-up, the FLO-credited songwriter Savannah Jada, who offers up her top career tips in Mentor Me (brought to you in partnership with Carla Marie Williams and Girls I Rate). And Music Venue Trust CEO Mark Davyd digs into the UK Government’s Creative Industries Sector plan and what it means for the grassroots sector.

Lastly, in our expanded monthly charts section, we present the Top 75 Singles and Albums of the previous month, accompanied by revamped analysis pages, plus a host of new listings. These include specialist genre Top 20s for Americana, Classical, Hip-Hop & R&B, Jazz, Country, Dance, Folk and Rock & Metal. The issue is also home to streaming, compilations and vinyl charts.

The new issue of Music Week is available from June 16.
