Sony Music Publishing Latin promotes Monica Jordan to vice president, creative A&R

Sony Music Publishing Latin has promoted Monica Jordan to vice president, creative A&R. 

Based out of Miami, Jordan will continue to report to Jorge Mejia, Sony Music Publishing president and CEO, Latin America & US Latin.

In her new role, Jordan will be responsible for driving the growth and development of her roster of SMP Latin songwriters, advancing creative strategy and expanding opportunities on behalf of the publisher’s roster.

During her time at the company, Jordan has signed and worked closely with hitmakers including Fuerza Regida frontman Jesús “JOP” Ortiz Paz, Myke Towers, Anitta and Edén Muñoz. She also works alongside recent SMP signee Street Mob Records, which boasts a roster of over 25 songwriters, artists and producers including Calle 24, Chino Pacas, Clave Especial and Miguel Armenta.

Monica Jordan first joined the company in 2010 as A&R manager, and most recently served as director, creative A&R.
