A music writer for two decades, including for titles such as Kerrang! and Planet Rock, James’ work for Music Week has included our 2024 Linkin Park cover story, as well as interviews with Sharon Osbourne and Tony Iommi on Black Sabbath’s farewell, Stephen Wilson Jr, Texas’ Sharleen Spiteri, Roger Daltrey, Elmiene, Joe Elliott, William Orbit, Music For Nations, Porcupine Tree and more. He has also written pieces on One Fiinix Live, Earache Records and the Nick Drake estate/Blue Raincoat’s tribute project The Endless Coloured Ways, as well as profiling Ghost’s manager Kristen Mulderig.
