Alison Wenham - Women In Music co-founder

One of the most respected executives in the UK music industry, Alison co-founded the Music Week Women In Music Awards alongside Lara Baker. Long before that, she had established a position at the forefront of the industry’s push for progress, primarily in the independent sector. Alison co-founded AIM in 1999, a pivotal move in the development of the indie sector in the UK. After running AIM until 2016, she became chief executive of World Independent Network (WIN). After that, Alison joined Funnel Music as non-executive director and was appointed COO at Chrysalis Records in 2021.
