Mark Davyd
Mark Davyd has been writing a monthly column for Music Week since 2021, digging into the key challenges facing grassroots music venues and the ways that the music business can be supporting the independent sector. As the CEO and founder of the UK charity Music Venue Trust – which he launched in 2014 – Mark works to protect and secure independent venues across the country. He is also the co-owner of grassroots music venue Tunbridge Wells Forum, as well as a fellow of the Royal Society Of Arts and a regular speaker at international conferences such as SXSW, ILMC, LAMC, Eurosonic and Primaversa Sound.
