The F-List For Music has unveiled DJ Paulette as its sixth president.
Paulette takes on the honorary role from Miranda Cooper, following in the footsteps of Hannah Peel, Professor Shirley J Thompson, Brix Smith and Anoushka Shankar.
The presidency allows influential musicians to champion and bring attention to the impactful work of The F-List for Music.
The role reflects The F-List’s commitment to supporting musicians across all genres of music, with each president representing a different area of the industry, including classical, pop, rock and composition.
“With electronic music and DJ culture still heavily male-dominated, we are particularly delighted to have DJ Paulette represent this genre over the coming year,” said a statement. “Renowned for her dynamic sets spanning house, disco, and techno, Paulette has carved out a reputation for energy and excellence across underground dancefloors and main stages across the world.”
She has shared the decks with DJs such as The Blessed Madonna and Radio 1’s Jaguar.
Her trailblazing career across three decades of electronic music, combined with her commitment to equity and representation, makes her the perfect figurehead for The F-List this year
