Lorde targets first No.1 album as Lewis Capaldi's comeback single gets a Glastonbury boost

Lorde is in the running for her first No.1 album this week.

Meanwhile, fellow Glastonbury surprise guest Lewis Capaldi is chasing No.1 in the singles chart with Survive.

According to the Official Charts Company Midweek Sales Flash, Lorde’s fourth album Virgin is leading the way with consumption of 13,053 units so far. 

It follows a run of Top 5 results for 2013 debut Pure Heroine (No.4), 2017’s Melodrama (No.5) and 2021 LP Solar Power (No.2).
