FKA Twigs heads the list of multi-nominated artists for this year’s UK Music Video Awards, with nine shortlist places overall, including six nominations for Eusexua.
The eight-minute video for the title track of this year’s Mercury-nominated album is the most for any single video at this year’s annual celebration of global music video creativity.
Award shortlists have been announced in 38 categories at this year’s UKMVAs, recognising the best work in music videos in the UK and around the world, along with the creative and technical talent behind them.
The winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on October 30 at Magazine London,
Other acts with multiple nominations include A$AP Rocky, Sabrina Carpenter, Doechii, Travis Scott, Little Simz and Wolf Alice.
ASAP Rocky’s video for Tailor Swif has five nods, while the promo for Sabrina Carpenter’s global hit Manchild has four nominations.
Both videos were helmed by directing duo Vania & Muggia, who are the second most nominated directors at this year’s UKMVAs. They are just behind Jordan Hemingway, director of Eusexua and three other FKA Twigs videos recognised this year, as well as a Travis Scott clip.
