Music rights and royalty services company Y Royalties has appointed Leticia Perez Amor to its transaction services team.
Perez Amor has joined from PwC, where she was a manager in the transaction services practice. SHe will support Y Royalties' growing catalogue valuation and due diligence offering, while helping to build the firm's financial due diligence capabilities and client relationships.
Perez Amor began in a Copenhagen-based start-up specialising in radio airplay monitoring, where she developed a grounding in data analysis, before moving to Sony Music in London to work in financial analysis within the licensing team. She then spent four years in PwC's transaction services practice, developing expertise in financial due diligence and complex deal advisory.
In her role at Y Royalties, Perez Amor will work across catalogue valuation and due diligence mandates, strengthen the firm's analytical and modelling capabilities, and support business development as the firm continues to scale.
"I'm genuinely excited to be part of Y Royalties, it's the perfect combination of my two worlds: music and finance, and I can't wait to start working with everyone,” said Leticia Perez Amor, senior royalties analyst, Y Royalties.

Head of transaction services, Alex Bowler, added: “We are delighted to welcome Leticia to the transaction services team. Her experience spanning PwC's Deals practice and Sony Music's Global Business Development function is a genuinely distinctive combination, and one that aligns closely with where we are taking the Y Royalties practice. Leticia will add depth and rigour to our due diligence and valuation processes while extending our modelling and data capabilities, which are central to our strategy for the year ahead."
Y Royalties said its growth trajectory continues as demand increases for its services for artists, songwriters, labels, publishers and institutional investors.
The hiring of Perez Amor follows the recent appointments of Andy Elms to the royalty audit team as associate director and Jason Bennett as head of royalty accounting.
