Wise Music Group renews partnership with Hania Rani

Wise Music Group’s Bosworth Music has renewed its partnership with composer, pianist and singer Hania Rani.

The Berlin-based publisher first began working with her in January 2021.

Hania Rani is an award-winning pianist, composer and vocalist. Her debut album, Esja (Gondwana Records), was released in 2019. It earned her four Fryderyk Awards in Poland.

Over the course of her career as a recording artist, Rani has released four full-length albums alongside collaborations and other various projects. Her latest album, Nostalgia, is her first live album. It pairs her music with her own photography.

Rani has also composed music for several films, including The Summer Book (2024), Rosalie (winner of the Valois de la Musique at the 2023 Festival du Film Francophone d’Angoulême), The Lost Flowers of Alice Hart (TV mini-series), On Giacometti (directed by Susanna Fanzun) and Venice – Infinitely Avantgarde.

She has performed concerts across Europe, North America, Australia and Japan, selling out prestigious venues. In 2022 she was invited to Paris for recorded live performances with ARTE and Cercle and performed a Tiny Desk concert in 2024.

Hania Rani said: “I am delighted and proud to continue being a part of the Wise Music family, a publisher who represents some of my favourite music and artists and has been incredibly supportive of my career over the past few years. I look forward to strengthening our close working relationship with new ambitious projects, and to exploring new territories with them.”

Michael Ohst, managing director of Bosworth Music, said: “Wise Music is thrilled to continue their collaboration with Hania Rani, an exceptional and multifaceted artist. Her unique talent as a composer, pianist, and vocalist sets her apart in the music world, and we are confident that her artistic vision will lead to continued success across a variety of fields.
