Warner Chappell US Latin signs award-winning songwriter Claudia Brant

Warner Chappell Music US Latin has signed a global publishing deal with Latin Songwriters Hall Of Fame inductee Claudia Brant.

“With a career spanning four decades, she has cemented her place as one of the most formidable forces in modern music,” said a statement.

A multi-year SESAC and ASCAP Latin Songwriter Of The Year recipient, Brant’s credits range across genres and languages including Alejandro Sanz, Becky G, Bruno Mars, Calibre 50, Camila Cabello, Danny Elfman, David Foster, Desmond Child, Diane Warren, John Legend, Julia Michaels, Marc Anthony, Motiff and Ricky Martin.

The deal marks a new chapter in Brant’s partnership with Warner Chappell. In 2024, Brant launched Cha Cha Cha Publishing to develop emerging songwriters and teamed up with WCM to provide the global platform and creative resources.

Among this new wave of talent is Colombian singer-songwriter Laura Prias, who has been featured in Spotify's Songwriters To Watch 2026 list and has collaborated with Rodney Alejandro, Andrés Saavedra and Julio Reyes Copello.

Brant has also signed rising songwriter Fran Chandia and Agua Tinta (Alejandra Garcia Rosso), who earned nearly 30 cuts in her first year and was nominated for Best Regional Mexican Song at the 2025 Latin Grammys. Through the joint venture with Brant, WCM has also signed Santiago “Toto” Rovito, an Argentine singer-songwriter currently working on his debut single.

Claudia is an artist and songwriter who never stops reinventing herself, and that spirit of constant reinvention is what makes her as relevant today as ever

Gustavo Menéndez, president, US Latin & Latin America, WCM, said: “After knowing each other for many years, and with the deep respect and admiration I have always had for her, I am very happy that we are finally working together. Claudia is an artist and songwriter who never stops reinventing herself, and that spirit of constant reinvention is what makes her as relevant today as ever."

Claudia Brant said: “I’m so glad and honoured to finally be a member of the Warner Chappell Publishing Company family. I love all teams in every country I have met so far, their creative energy is unstoppable, and that is something we definitely have in common. I’m sure we'll make a great team. Gus Menéndez is a dear friend that goes full force and I want to be there with him, side by side, all the way.”

LA-based Brant, a native of Argentina, has a catalogue of more than 4,000 songs. In 2009, she won the Latin Grammy Song Of The Year for Luis Fonsi’s Aquí Estoy Yo, and in 2019, she earned the Grammy Award for Best Latin Pop Album for her Sincera.

Brant currently serves as the National Trustee for The Recording Academy (LA chapter) and an ASCAP board member. She also holds the position of senior vice president for the Latin Songwriters Hall Of Fame, following her induction in 2016.
