UMPG signs UK hitmaker Jessica Agombar

Universal Music Publishing Group has signed UK hitmaker Jessica Agombar.

The songwriter from East London has co-written hits including BTS’ Dynamite, the Korean band’s first English language song. Written with David Stewart, Dynamite became BTS’ first US Hot 100 No.1 and was also the first US chart-topper for an all-South Korean act.

Jessica Agombar won the Music Creative award at the 2022 Music Week Women In Music Awards.

Agombar’s catalogue spans seven RIAA platinum-certified records. She has co-written hits including What a Man Gotta Do by Jonas Brothers, Shot Glass Full Of Tears by Jung Kook, Killin’ It Girl by J-Hope and Million Dollar Baby by Ava Max.

“Jessica's talent for storytelling and global pop sensibility makes her one of the most exciting forces in music,” stated UMPG in an Instagram post. “We’re ready to write the next chapter of chart history together. Welcome to the family, Jessica!”
