Universal Music Publishing Group has signed songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Miles Clinton James to a worldwide publishing agreement.
James is best known for having produced and co-written Little Simz’s 2025 album Lotus. He has also written with talent including Kokoroko, Cleo Sol, Sault, Tom Odell, Yussef Dayes, Yazmin Lacey, Foals and Tom Misch.
“A beloved and trusted collaborator of some of today’s most exciting artists, Miles’ musicality and technical mastery allows him to work across genres,” said a statement. “Working out of his meticulously crafted analogue haven in Ray Davies’ Konk Studios, Miles pushes his collaborators to their creative limits, resulting in records that are drenched in depth, colour, and authenticity.”
