Sony Music Publishing UK and JV partner Second Songs have signed a new global publishing agreement with songwriter Bastian Langebaek.
The new deal includes future works written by Langebaek.
A platinum-certified songwriter based in Copenhagen, Langebaek has a long-term creative partnership with Olivia Dean, which includes six co-writes across the globally successful album The Art Of Loving. Langebaek has received an Ivor Novello Best Album nomination alongside Dean and Max Wolfgang.
Langebaek’s other key credits include songs with Anderson Paak, Aurora, Jessie Ware, Jess Glynne, Nilufer Yanya, Anna Of The North and more.
“I’m incredibly excited and grateful to sign a new publishing deal with Second Songs & Sony Music Publishing, getting to work once more with Mark Gale, who I first signed with 11 years ago, a moment that changed everything,” said Bastian Langebaek. “As I step into this next chapter, I want to give a big shout out to Caroline Elleray and Tim Major, as well as my friend and manager, the hardest-working person I know, Vaz Pilikian. Thank you for believing in me.”
