Sony Music Publishing has signed breakthrough singer, songwriter and artist Odeal to a worldwide publishing agreement.
Odeal has collaborated with artists including Leon Thomas, and received praise from artists like SZA, Victoria Monét, Justin Bieber and more.
His project The Summer That Saved Me, released in the summer and featuring the hit track Miami, has generated more than 23 million global streams to date. Odeal’s latest release is The Fall That Saved Us.
Odeal said: “My vision has always been to make music that touches people around the world, so choosing partners who truly believe in that vision is important to me. I’m excited to be working with Shauni and a team I trust and who genuinely believe in what I’m building.”
Odeal won two 2025 MOBO Awards for Best Newcomer and Best R&B Act, as well as securing a nomination for BET’s first ever Best New International Act award. He was also part of Amazon Music’s 2025 Breakthrough Artist list, Spotify’s 2025 Artist To Watch and a member of YouTube Music’s 2025 Foundry programme.

Odeal was born in Germany and raised in Spain, the UK and Nigeria before settling down in the UK when he was 17. His career first took off with his self-produced single Be Easy.
He reached new heights with the release of Soh Soh, which sparked a viral TikTok dance challenge. His momentum continued with the release of his 2022 EP Lustropolis, which has garnered over 80m worldwide streams to date.
