Pulse Music Group signs Julia Wolf to global publishing deal

Julia Capella (professionally known as Julia Wolf) has signed a worldwide publishing deal with Pulse Music Group.

The singer, songwriter and record producer from Long Island gained early attention on TikTok before releasing her debut EP Girls in Purgatory (2021).

Wolf was chosen as one of the first independent artists to be featured in the inaugural Spotify Fresh Finds programme in 2021. She continued writing and producing music alongside close collaborator Scro, which led to the albums Good Thing We Stayed (2023) and Pressure (2025).

The single In My Room became Wolf’s first Hot 100 single entry. After Drake featured her on single Dog House with Yeat, Wolf went on to collaborate with Yeat on the track My Way.

In a joint statement, co-CEOs Scott Cutler and Josh Abraham said: “The excitement surrounding Julia as an artist and hitmaker is incredible and every bit timely. Straight out of the gate, Julia has been amassing a huge [level of] fandom but there’s no doubt that in 2026 Julia is experiencing her well-deserved moment. From her unique point of view as an artist and songwriter, to her incredible voice, we couldn’t be more thrilled to be a part of Julia’s already extraordinary career and to welcome her to the Pulse creative community.”

She's what pop is missing and I’m so excited to watch her continue to shape culture

Lauren Bodin, senior director, A&R, Pulse Music Group, said: “Julia's authenticity, emotional intensity and lyrical vulnerability have earned her a fiercely loyal cult following that has transcended far beyond the walls of alternative music. She's what pop is missing and I’m so excited to watch her continue to shape culture and blur every line drawn around her.”

Julia Wolf said: “I’m so excited to step into this next chapter of my career with the support of Pulse and American, and to join a roster I truly respect and admire. I know this is where I’ll create my best music yet and can’t wait to bring it all to life."

Wolf is next scheduled to perform at Lollapalooza in July, followed by UK dates at the Hinterland Music Festival and Reading & Leeds Festival in August.

The deal with Julia Wolf is signed with support from A&R team Michael Goldberg and Isaac Heymann at American Songs.
