PRS For Music has appointed Sally Weir as chief membership officer, effective January 2026.
Weir has a 20-year career in senior leadership roles across global financial and media organisations, including Bupa, Direct Line Group, First Direct and Sky, where she led large-scale customer service operations focused on acquisition and retention.
Reporting to CEO Andrea Czapary Martin, Weir’s remit will include delivering on the organisation’s commitment to enable all members to maximise their membership. She will also oversee PRS For Music’s digital-first plans providing new online tools and services.
Sally Weir said: “I am delighted to be joining PRS For Music in the new year. Songwriters, composers and music publishers are at the heart of this organisation – it’s important that they feel connected and heard. I look forward to working with the Members’ Council and leadership team to further PRS’s mission and enhance our service offering to members.”

Sally is widely recognised for her ability to drive operational excellence and digital innovation through the development and leadership of high-performing teams. I look forward to welcoming her to the team.”
Upon Weir’s appointment, Neil Whittaker will transition back to chief operating officer from his interim role which oversaw the member support team alongside his role as COO.
