Notting Hill Music signs rising drum & bass artist Sota to global publishing deal

Notting Hill Music has signed rising drum & bass artist Sota to a new global publishing agreement.

“The deal will see Notting Hill Music represent Sota’s catalogue and future works worldwide, marking a major next step for one of the most exciting breakthrough artists in electronic music,” said a statement.

Alongside growing demand for live shows by Sota, there’s an expanding international fanbase across the UK, Europe, Australia, Asia and North America.

In 2023, Sota won Best Newcomer at the Drum & Bass Arena Awards. He was also named a BBC Radio 1 Future Star 2025.

His State Of The Art shows have sold tens of thousands of tickets globally, including selling out London’s Roundhouse in under an hour. He has performed at festivals including Glastonbury and Reading & Leeds, Boomtown, Let It Roll and Tomorrowland.

Sota’s headline shows have also spread internationally, selling more than 10,000 tickets across Australia and New Zealand in 2024, and recently announcing his debut arena headline show in Perth for September 2026.

The partnership with Notting Hill Music will focus on developing Sota’s catalogue globally, expanding songwriting opportunities and supporting the continued growth of the project as it enters its next phase.

Jamie Osman, manager of Sota, said: “Working with Tom (Southon, Sota) is a dream, he has an incredible vision for this project and what we have been able to achieve in such a short period of time is testament to his hard work and dedication to the project.

“As we move into this next phase of his career it was important to widen the team with people we trust, and John and the crew at NHM felt like a perfect fit to support this next step in his development as we scale his State of the Art brand globally into arenas and look towards a debut album.”

John Saunderson, head of creative at Notting Hill Music, added: “Sota’s rise has been nothing short of phenomenal, and we’re thrilled to be part of the next chapter. Tom is a world-class talent with a clear vision, and the scale he’s already operating at speaks volumes. Jamie’s belief in Notting Hill Music and the trust he’s placed in us was key to bringing this together, and we’re excited to build on that as we take the catalogue and the State Of The Art brand to an even bigger global stage.”

Through the new agreement, Notting Hill Music will work closely with Sota and his team to maximise opportunities across songwriting collaborations, sync, global repertoire development and catalogue growth.
