Notting Hill Music signs global publishing deal with UK singer-songwriter Andrew Cushin

Singer-songwriter Andrew Cushin has signed a major global publishing deal with Notting Hill Music.

The deal with Notting Hill Music will see the company administer Andrew Cushin’s existing catalogue while supporting his future releases, sync opportunities and international expansion.

“The deal marks a landmark moment in Andrew Cushin’s rise, which has seen him praised by Noel Gallagher, Sam Fender, Louis Tomlinson and Peter Doherty,” said a statement.

Notting Hill Music’s expertise will “help amplify his growing presence in the global music scene”, the statement continued.

Andrew Cushin said: "Signing a publishing deal with Notting Hill Music is a real opportunity for me and my team to develop me as an artist, as they really believe in me and my music. For me, partnering with an organisation who are focused on long-term growth, and have a belief in my music is most important.

“After years of playing up and down the UK as an independent artist, this partnership is going to open doors globally. Both me and Notting Hill Music are looking forward to the future and what it holds.”

John Saunderson, head of creative at Notting Hill Music, added: "Andrew Cushin is one of the most exciting voices in British music. His songwriting is honest, full of heart and resonates with his audience at every level, the kind that connects instantly. It also helps to have a great manager like Leigh Macfarlane. We're very proud to welcome both to the Notting Hill Music family and look forward to being part of what's going to be a remarkable journey."

Hailing from Newcastle, Andrew Cushin emerged in 2020 and released his debut album Waiting For The Rain in 2023. His second album, Love Is For Everyone via LAB Records, saw him make a Top 40 breakthrough on the UK albums chart earlier this year. It also peaked at No.3 on the independent albums chart.

Along the way, he has played shows with Noel Gallagher and Louis Tomlinson, performed at numerous key UK and European festivals, and headlined a big homecoming show at Mouth Of The Tyne Festival. Brand endorsements include Aston Martin F1, Yeti and Weekend Offender.

Cushin’s plans for 2025 include support dates with Robbie Williams and the Pet Shop Boys, as well as a UK and European headline tour in October, which closes with a major hometown show at Newcastle’s O2 City Hall. He will then embark upon a North American headline tour in November.

Notting Hill Music represents a diverse roster of hitmakers and iconic catalogues. The company has played a key role in the careers of artists such as Paul Weller, Robbie Williams and Dizzee Rascal, while also managing enduring works from Altered Images, Utah Saints and The Bluebells.

Confirmation of Notting Hill’s deal with Andrew Cushin follows the recent signing of Billy Lockett.
