Kobalt has signed a global publishing deal with Disco Neil, one half of production duo Bashment Sound.
Disco Neil and fellow producer Silent Addy were behind Moliy’s Shake It To The Max. The Shake It To The Max (Fly Remix) version has become a global hit.
“Neil and his creative partner in Bashment Sound have created the song of the summer with Shake It To The Max," said Kate Loesch, senior director of creative at Kobalt. “We’re excited to welcome him into the Kobalt family and look forward to the world hearing what else he has in store.”
Disco Neil is known for his genre-blending sound that fuses dancehall, Afrobeats and electronic music. His work with Bashment Sound has been championed by tastemakers across the US, UK and West Africa.
