Concord Music Publishing has signed artist, songwriter and producer Adrian Quesada.
The global publishing deal covers upcoming projects and Quesada’s catalogue, including his work as one half of the seven-time Grammy-nominated band Black Pumas.
Quesada has produced and performed in a variety of projects spanning multiple genres including funk, soul, psychedelia and Latin music.
Adrian Quesada said: “Excited is an understatement to describe how I feel about joining the Concord publishing team. From my first talks and interactions with Jeremy and Pablo I could tell that they are as passionate as I am about putting good music into the world. Concord has an unmatched ability to cast a big enough net to reach all the worlds I like to incorporate into my music – from soul to Latin to hip-hop, and beyond. I’m thrilled about the next chapter with this amazing crew.”
In the past year, Quesada released a sequel to the Boleros Psicodélicos project. Boleros Psicodélicos II features Cuco, Ile & Dayme Arocena, Angélica Garcia, Ed Maverick, Hermanos Gutiérrez, Monsieur Periné, Gepe, and more who combine original music with reimagined renditions of classic Latin baladas.
