BMG signs global publishing deal with Tom Walker

Platinum-selling British singer-songwriter Tom Walker has signed a global publishing agreement with BMG

Known for his breakthrough hits Leave A Light On and Just You And I, from his BRIT Award-winning debut album What A Time To Be Alive, Walker has more than three billion global streams.

Tom Walker said: “BMG has believed in me from early on, so to finally be teaming up with them now feels really special. I’ve been through a lot over the last few years, and this next era of music is the most honest I’ve ever made. To have a team behind me that truly gets that, means the world. I’m proper excited for what’s to come.”

Simon King, CEO/founder, Covert Talent Management, said: “We’ve had a long-standing relationship with the BMG team through our work with other writers, and Lisa has always been a passionate supporter of Tom. It’s incredibly meaningful to now be collaborating on this new chapter, especially at a time when Tom’s songwriting and artistic focus are the strongest they’ve ever been. We’re genuinely excited about the journey ahead and what we can build together with BMG on a global scale.”

Lisa Cullington, vice president, creative, publishing, BMG, added: “We’re excited to welcome Tom Walker to BMG. He’s a phenomenal songwriter and artist whose music connects on such a deep, emotional level. We can’t wait to support him in this next exciting chapter.”

BMG’s UK roster includes Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Lenny Kravitz, George Ezra, CMAT, Kamille and James Arthur.
