Universal Music Group’s Global Classics & Jazz division has unveiled Everything Jazz, a new digital platform and online store dedicated to jazz music and culture.
Everything Jazz offers curated retail alongside editorial content that celebrates everything about the genre – from its music and history, to artistry and its future.
Developed in partnership with jazz labels Blue Note, Verve, Impulse!, Decca, Fontana, and ECM, Everything Jazz is now live, in line with Jazz Appreciation Month this April.
The (Re)Discover Jazz initiative has also launched with the platform, which is a month-long series of 20 digital lessons curated by an editorial team. Jazz’s history, key sub-genres, artists and labels are explored across the lessons.
Everything Jazz's official launch follows a phased roll-out of online stores across Europe (including local stores in France and the UK), Japan, Australia, Canada and the US. The platform provides fans with access to rare repertoire, premium releases such as Blue Note’s Tone Poet and Classic Vinyl editions as well as Verve’s Vault and Acoustic Sounds series.
