The Killers to headline UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi

Pepsi Max and UC3 have revealed that The Killers will headline the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi on May 30 at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest, Hungary. 

It follows Linkin Park’s performance at last year’s Final in Munich.

The UEFA Champions League Final performance will include fan favourite Mr Brightside, which recently passed three billion Spotify streams.

To announce the performance, The Killers’ feature in a short film, The Race Begins, alongside Sir David Beckham.

The Killers have recently confirmed that their eighth studio album is in the works.

In a statement, The Killers said: "When we were asked to perform at the UEFA Champions League Final Kick Off Show presented by Pepsi, we said yes without hesitation, some stages speak for themselves. We're honored to celebrate the incredible teams and players at what will undoubtedly be an epic match."

Live Nation is producing the pre-match show at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest in what is a narrow live broadcast window.
