The Jazz FM Awards will return following a three-year break.
The ceremony – taking place on April 24 2025 – recognises excellence across jazz, soul, and blues, representing established artists and emerging talent.
The Jazz FM Awards will this year take place at a new venue, Koko in Camden, which has recently partnered with Coca-Cola on a new recording studio facility.
Since its inception in 2013, the Jazz FM Awards has honoured legends including Herbie Hancock, the Rolling Stones, Dame Cleo Laine, Gregory Porter, Norah Jones, Quincy Jones and Tony Bennett, along with contemporary stars such as Jacob Collier, Nubya Garcia and Ezra Collective and up-and-coming talent.
Nominations for this year’s Awards will be announced throughout the day on March 6, 2025, with further details regarding the host and live performances to be shared closer to the date.
Returning categories include the UK Jazz Act of the Year, the Innovation Award and Album of the Year. A new category, The Collaboration Award, will honour the deserving musician, group or organisation who have harnessed one of the core essences of the jazz tradition – collaboration – in a “truly innovative, impactful, inclusive and inspirational way”.
This year’s awards will again welcome PPL and PRS For Music as headline sponsors.
Peter Leathem OBE, CEO, PPL, said: "Welcome back to the Jazz FM Awards, celebrating the very best in UK and international jazz, soul and blues music. With so many contemporary and established artists releasing exciting new music over the past year, we're delighted to be supporting Jazz FM in celebrating the performers who invest their time and talent into making music that connects with audiences around the world.”

Nick Pitts, content director, Jazz FM and Magic Classical, said:“Since launching in 2013, the Jazz FM Awards have been a benchmark of excellence in the jazz community, honouring outstanding achievements in performance, innovation, and creativity. With its return to a new, iconic venue and a fresh roster of nominees, the 2025 ceremony will once again mark the genre's enduring legacy and future.
