DawBell co-founders rank No.1 on PR Week's entertainment publicists

DawBell co-founders Rich Dawes and Stu Bell have been named the No.1 entertainment PRs by PR Week.

The Power Book, published annually by PR Week, is an extensive list of the most influential and respected comms professionals in the UK today.

“This recognition highlights DawBell’s significant influence on popular culture and its continued success in the entertainment industry,” said the agency.

In the past year, DawBell has worked on Paul McCartney’s world tour, Dua Lipa headlining Glastonbury, announcing the return of Oasis, Elton John’s documentary, winning the Football Manager account and their third year with Silverstone.

Dawes and Bell, who launched DawBell in 2009, have been regulars on the Power Book list since its inception. This marks the first time they have claimed the top spot.

PR Week said: "DawBell’s prowess in the music industry is well known, with founding clients such as Paul McCartney through to the BRITs and Mercury Prize, and this year’s big Oasis reunion tour. But Rich and Stu’s 75-strong client portfolio now includes film, gaming and corporate work, including the Football Manager game and Women’s AIG Open golf. As part of a seven-strong European network of agencies – PR:E – that it founded last year, the London-based agency has grown fees by 5% over the past 12 months and hired six new staff for an overall headcount of 39.”
