BRITs 2025: Prime-time TV spotlight for UK jazz as Ezra Collective are added to performers line-up

The BRIT Awards has added Ezra Collective to the line-up of performers for the ceremony on the weekend (March 1).

The BRITs takes place at the O2 Arena and airs at prime-time on Saturday night (8.15pm) exclusively on ITV1 and ITVX.

Ezra Collective, who are nominated for four awards, will be joined by special guest Jorja Smith. It follows their biggest headline show to date at Wembley Arena – a first for a UK jazz act.

The Mercury-winning group and former Music Week cover stars broke into the Top 10 with their latest album, Dance, No One’s Watching, released via independent label Partisan. It has consumption to date of 24,364, according to the Official Charts Company.

Ezra Collective last week released new single Body Language, featuring British-Colombian singer-songwriter Sasha Keable.

The jazz group join previously announced artists performing at the BRITs including Jade, Lola Young, Myles Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Fender, Teddy Swims and The Last Dinner Party. Shaboozey is no longer able to perform.

Femi Koleoso, of Ezra Collective, said: “Honestly, the opportunity to play at the BRITs is so precious. I grew up watching the BRITs; I think about performances from Gorillaz and Skepta; and those moments, when I was sat as a teenager in my room, really were massive for me as wanting to become a musician. So I’m honoured to play, because it’s an honour, but I’m honoured that we get the opportunity to give this moment to the teenage versions of Ezra Collective that will be watching. Absolutely can’t wait to make you all dance on Saturday night. God bless you all, peace.”

Harriet Rose and Munya Chawawa will present The BRITs 2025: The Warm-Up on ITV2 from 9pm on Thursday (February 27). Special guests include Jade, BRITs host Jack Whitehall, Danny Jones, Rachel Chinouriri and Confidence Man.
