As Dawbell celebrates awards nods, PR agency re-appoints Lewis Fromberg and makes key promotions

DawBell has re-appointed Lewis Fromberg as account director, where he will lead work across brands, sports and popular culture, overseeing both communications and commercial strategy.

During his six years as associate PR director (music), Fromberg worked with global artists and brands, including The Beatles, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lewis Capaldi, Eric Cantona, Steve Aoki, Imagine Dragons and Pioneer DJ.

His efforts on Lewis Capaldi’s second album, Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, won the PR Campaign Of the Year award at the 2024 Music Week Awards, in collaboration with MBC PR and APB PR.

After leaving the company in 2024 to join Red Bull, Fromberg has returned in a new role, leading on commercial strategy across brands, sports and popular culture, alongside campaign work, and will act as the agency’s liaison for the PR:E network which launched in Spring 2024.

Lewis Fromberg said: “I'm thrilled to be back at DawBell as account director, joining an incredible team that’s truly passionate about their work. I'm especially inspired by the commercial plans to expand across brands and sports, connecting our clients even more deeply with all things popular culture.”

In addition, DawBell has announced the promotions of Rachael Chinery and Charlie Brun to associate PR directors (music). Both have played instrumental roles in campaigns for international artists, feature films and brands, including Elton John, Dua Lipa, Shania Twain, Pharrell Williams, A Complete Unknown, Duran Duran, Avelino, Pixies, The BRIT Awards, Mercury Prize, Isle of Wight Festival and We Out Here Festival.

The appointments and promotions follow multiple awards nominations for the agency, including at the Music Week Awards.

Kate Etteridge, managing director at DawBell, said: “The award nominations cement a fantastic start for DawBell in 2025. We are delighted to have Lewis re-join the team in his new role working across popular culture. Congratulations to Rachael and Charlie too on their promotions.”

AWARDS RECOGNITION

DawBell’s music team has just secured two nominations for PR Campaign of the Year at the 2025 Music Week Awards

The Music and Brands teams have also secured a place on the shortlist for the 2025 PRmoment Awards, for their collaborative work on the launch of the Gibson Garage London.

The nominations for this year’s Music Week PR Campaign Of The Year Awards recognise DawBell’s contribution to Dua Lipa and Oasis campaigns. The agency played a key role in the announcement and release of Dua Lipa’s third studio album, Radical Optimism, which debuted at No.1.

Additionally, DawBell’s work on the Oasis reunion tour and chart-topping Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary campaign earned it a second nomination in the same category.

2025 marks DawBell’s 16th consecutive Music Week Award nomination and the second year running with two nods in this category (Lewis Capaldi and The Beatles in 2024). It also presents the agency with an opportunity to secure its fourth win of the coveted music industry award.

DawBell has also been shortlisted for Event of the Year (Live, Virtual, or Hybrid) at the 2025 PRmoment Awards for its Brands and Music teams' collaborative work on the launch of the Gibson Garage London.

Gibson’s first flagship store outside the US was officially opened by Tony Iommi, Jimmy Page and Sir Brian May – and featured a performance by the singer-songwriter and guitarist, James Bay. This follows the agency’s recent acknowledgement by the 2024 Drum Awards Festival with a nomination in its PR:Retail category.
