Various Artists Management (VAM) has announced a series of new hires in its London office.
Rebecca Dixon has been appointed to the new role of global head of marketing & strategy, with a remit to “shape the company’s wider direction and develop global strategies for its clients”.
George Shepherd, meanwhile, has been promoted to associate director, having played a key role in shaping the careers of Ashnikko, Rose Gray, Sad Night Dynamite, Glen Roberts and Joe Rubel. The exec will now oversee the creative development and strategic direction of the full VAM roster while continuing to represent his roster.
Kayleigh Ramchand-Bentley has been appointed general manager, UK, while the company also welcomes Kelley Fox as senior international A&R, working across both VAM and Alternative Songs.
I'm excited to build and push the global strategy in a way that stays creative, confident, and completely artist-led
Rebecca Dixon, VAM
Rebecca Dixon said: “Taking on the role of global head of marketing & strategy feels like a natural evolution as the company continues to expand internationally. I'm excited to build and push the global strategy in a way that stays creative, confident, and completely artist-led alongside the rest of our team in the UK, US, Australia, and soon-to-be Middle East. Working across artists like Melanie C, Rose Gray, Ashnikko, Tom Grennan, and Good Neighbours shows the range and ambition of the roster. I want to connect culture and strategy across all territories and truly elevate how we support our artists on a global scale.”
