Future History Management appoints Jameson Roper as partner and president of US operations

Future History Management has appointed Nashville-based executive Jameson Roper as partner and president of US operations.

Roper will oversee all North American activity for the company. In addition to taking his longtime client Bilmuri, Roper has signed metalcore band Wage War to Future History for worldwide management, marking one of the company’s highest priority new signings.

It follows a big year for the international management company, headed by CEO and founder Ryan Richards. The firm oversaw Sleep Token’s simultaneous UK and US No.1 album, one of the biggest US streaming weeks ever for a British rock act, multiple Hot 100 entries and an RCA Records deal

Jameson Roper said the aim of Future History is to represent “best-in-class artists”.

“Getting to firsthand witness Ryan’s excitement and willingness to dive in on every minute detail with artists has always impressed me,” said Roper.

“I first crossed paths with Jameson ahead of bringing Bilmuri out on Sleep Token’s European tour last year,” said Ryan Richards. “We connected quickly through a deep love of music and a real passion for the artists we represent, and it was clear from the outset that we shared the same drive and commitment to the people we work with.

“With him now flying the flag for us stateside – and with the addition of two hugely exciting US acts in Bilmuri and Wage War – we’re genuinely thrilled to offer our roster a truly global set-up. We’re looking forward to everything we can build together from here.”
