WME has appointed Laura Ruiz as an agent in the contemporary music department, where she will focus on the agency’s growing roster of electronic music clients.
In her new role, she will bring several of her clients to the agency, including Oguz, Joyhauser, Don Woezik, Diøn and Milo Spykers. She will be based in WME’s London office.
Ruiz will be responsible for overseeing WME’s electronic music business in Spain and Portugal — a key market focus as the agency continues expanding its international presence in the genre.

Ruiz has joined WME from The Bliss Office, where she served as managing director of the North and South America division. During her tenure, she led global operations, managed a diverse team and represented a roster of talent including Oguz, Clara Cuvé and Joyhauser.
Before her time at Bliss, Ruiz founded and operated her own artist agency. She previously worked at The Bullitt Agency in their Barcelona office, further developing her expertise across both European and American markets.
