Wasserman has appointed Christa D’Alimonte as chief legal officer.
Mike Pickles, Wasserman’s current chief legal officer, will be retiring from the company and will assist with D’Alimonte’s transition into the role through the end of the year.
Based in the global sports, music and entertainment agency’s New York office, D’Alimonte will start at the company on October 14.
In her role, she will lead Wasserman’s global legal team and will advise senior management on business and legal strategies, as well as regulatory compliance matters.
“We are pleased to welcome Christa to Team Wass, where she will lead legal operations across the company,” said Casey Wasserman, chairman and CEO. “Christa brings an immense level of experience and a unique understanding of the global industries in which we operate. We look forward to the leadership and innovation she will bring to the legal team and overall business strategy.”

“We thank Mike for his incredible 15 years of guidance and service,” added Wasserman. “His commitment and dedication as a leader within the company has been integral in navigating the unprecedented growth of our business.”
D’Alimonte has joined Wasserman with more than 30 years of legal experience. She spent more than a decade at Paramount Global and its predecessor, Viacom, most recently as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.
Prior to that, D'Alimonte spent nearly 20 years representing clients across media, entertainment and investment banking at the multinational law firm Shearman & Sterling, including as a partner in the firm's mergers & acquisitions group.
“I’m proud to be joining Wasserman at this point in the company’s evolution,” said Christa D’Alimonte. “Throughout my career, I’ve worked with global businesses in the dynamic media and entertainment industries, and I am excited to bring that experience to Wasserman.
“I look forward to partnering with the legal department and executive leadership team to further enhance Wasserman’s position as a global leader in sports, music and entertainment, and I would like to thank Mike for this help throughout the transition.”
