In a first for Green Man Festival, face-value ticket resale platform Twickets will allow fans to be able to buy and sell tickets right up until 8am on the Sunday of the event.
Traditionally, resale through the festival’s official partner Twickets closed when gates opened, but this year’s change allows greater flexibility for genuine fans who make last-minute plans. It also ensures that those who can no longer attend can pass their ticket on to another fan at face value.
Green Man Festival takes place from August 14-17 in the Brecon Beacons. The event is known for its eclectic mix of music, art, comedy, science and literature.
Organisers of the 25,000-capacity Green Man Festival revealed that the 2025 event sold out in record time, with every ticket going in just an hour. Tickets sold out 11 months ahead of the festival and before the line-up had even been announced.
Richard Davies, founder of Twickets, said: “The demand for Green Man festival is bigger than ever this year, so we’re extending resale until 8am on Sunday to help more fans snap up last minute tickets. Festivals are all about seizing the moment, and at Twickets we want to make it easier for people to attend throughout the entire event. It also ensures that if someone can’t make it their ticket can go straight to another genuine fan, not a tout. It’s all about keeping tickets in the hands of the people who really want to be there.”
All tickets are sold at face value or less plus booking fee, and fans are encouraged to sign up to receive alerts via email and the Twickets app.
Earlier this year, Twickets reported high demand for tours from acts including Sam Fender, Slipknot and Stereophonics. Twickets is the official resale partner for the Oasis reunion tour.
