Teddy Swims sets new sales record at Manchester's Co-op Live

Teddy Swims finished the UK leg of his I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy tour with a second show at Manchester’s Co-op Live, selling 18,281 tickets to set a new sales record at the recently opened arena.

Swims’ tour has sold 125,000 tickets, featuring two sold-out nights each at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena, London’s OVO Arena Wembley, Co-op Live and Dublin’s 3Arena, as well as a single sold-out date at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro.

The success of his tour also follows Swims presenting and performing at this year's BRIT Awards, and his three singles – Bad Dreams, Lose Control and The Door – holding the UK Top 40 simultaneously.

“Teddy’s UK live plot has been built steadily by Luke, Lucy and Ella, and since his first shows in 2022, he hasn’t missed a step,” said Dan Roberts, Swims’ UK Promoter at Metropolis Music. “To sell over 100,000 tickets in the UK alone is a testament to not only his incredible voice and songwriting ability, but also the work he has put into building his audience in the market. Setting a new sales record at Manchester’s Co-op Live was a real team effort with Curtis Baldwin (tour manager) and Rob Bright (production manager) putting together an impressive show with fantastic sightlines and audio all the way round to 240 degrees (and beyond), which allowed us to maximise sales in all arenas. Special thanks to Live Nation ticketing manager Edd Leigh, who endured hours of my assiduous ticket release questions and to the Manchester Co-op Live team for their collaborative approach to delivering a fantastic experience for the fans.”

“With this record-breaking achievement, it’s clear Teddy Swims’ star power is only continuing to grow,” noted Lucy Dickins and Ella Street, Teddy’s live agents at WME. “We are incredibly proud to be part of Teddy’s journey and want to congratulate Teddy, Luke and the entire team.”
