Take That are to play stadiums next summer with the revival of The Circus Live.
Originally staged in 2009, The Circus Live broke UK records as the fastest-selling tour in history, with more than 600,000 tickets sold in under five hours. More than one million fans attended the sell-out shows across the UK and Ireland.
SJM, Kennedy Street Enterprises and MCD are promoters for The Circus Live in 2026.
In a statement, Take That said: “The Circus tour was one of our favourite experiences as a band and, in the years since, we've talked many times about how much we'd love to do it again one day. Well, that time has come! We're so excited to welcome audiences old and new across the UK and Ireland to the spectacle of The Circus Live next summer. See you out there!”
The original tour featured fire-breathers, stilt-walkers, clowns, acrobats, tap dancers and a 30-foot-tall mechanical elephant, which carried the band through the audience.
For 2026, the band are set to perform the original 2009 set list, as well as new elements.
Take That – The Circus Live – Summer 2026, will kick off at St Mary’s Stadium in Southampton on May 29. The band will then play a run of stadium dates around the UK & Ireland including shows in Coventry, Sunderland, Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and two nights at the London Stadium.
Based on the previous Circus tour, it seems likely that further dates will be added. They played five shows in Manchester (Old Trafford Cricket Ground) and four nights at Wembley Stadium in 2009.
The final show scheduled in 2026 is for Dublin’s Aviva Stadium on July 4.
Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 26 at 9.30am
An album bundle is available that offers fans first access to tour tickets by pre-ordering Take That’s 10th studio album, although it is not set for release via EMI until late 2026. It follows the big chart result for This Life in 2023.
The Script, who supported Take That on the original Circus Live Tour in 2009, will return as special guests on all UK shows in 2026, alongside Belinda Carlisle.
