Mother Artists has appointed Sarah Besnard as a booker.
Besnard will be working alongside Natasha Gregory on her roster of artists and will become an integral part of the live booking wider team.
Mother Artists has seen new live career peaks for artists including CMAT, Idles (management & live), King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard and Amy Macdonald. The management and live agency was founded by siblings Natasha Gregory and Mark Bent.
Sarah Besnard has worked as an agent at Earth Agency and ATC Live. She returns to the music industry after spending the previous three-and-a-half years raising her daughter.
“Her keen eye for talent and dedication to artist development has previously helped a diverse roster of artists flourish, including Fontaines DC, Tops, Gilla Band and PVA,” said a statement.
Natasha Gregory said: “We are so happy to have Sarah join the team. She’s kind, incredibly well respected, a great mum with her priorities and values in order and is fiercely good at what she does. Hard work and discipline are a given to be great in this industry, but it’s the strength in character and core values that will continue to build the business at Mother Artists – and I for one am looking forward to learning from Sarah and supporting our clients in the best way we can.”

Sarah Besnard added: “I feel incredibly fortunate to be joining the team at Mother Artists. The agency stands out for its commitment to supporting parents, women and people that want to navigate their careers and personal lives. This mission resonates deeply with me, especially after taking time to focus on being a new mum. I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to work with such an incredible roster of artists and feel privileged to bring my experience to help elevate their careers.”
Mother Artists won Booking Agency of the Year at the 2024 Live Awards.
Live client CMAT sold out her entire UK and Ireland headline tour this year and attracted a huge main stage crowd at Green Man Festival. Following the release of new album Euro-Country, CMAT has more upcoming performances and has booked 2026 shows at Alexandra Palace and huge outdoor shows in Dublin and Cork.
Elsewhere, Mother Artists have guided King Gizzard And The Lizard Wizard through a year of new live experiences, taking in three-night residencies at locations across Europe, with orchestra collaboration shows on the calendar, including a sold-out Royal Albert Hall show.
Idles recently played homecoming gigs with two Block Party shows in Bristol – the first live events in Queen Square for twenty years. Meanwhile, Amy Macdonald will close this year by playing to over 28,000 fans across two nights at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro before embarking upon a sold-out European headline tour in February.
This year has also seen Mother Artists achieve success on the live front with The Teskey Brothers, Ry X, Foster The People and Bombay Bicycle Club, while also developing next wave artists in the shape of The Pill, Julie, Clothes Line From Hell, Blair Davie and Zinadelphia.
