Lucy Dickins is leaving WME, where she has headed up the London office and served as global head of contemporary music and touring.
In a memo seen by Music Week, Christian Muirhead, co-chairman of WME, announced her departure to the agency's staff.
Dickins moved from ITB to head up WME’s UK business in 2019, taking superstar client Adele with her to the agency for international representation outside the US. The following year she was promoted to global co-head of music, and in 2022 she was further elevated to global head of contemporary music and touring.
Dickins was awarded the prestigious Music Industry Trusts (MITS) Award in 2023.
At WME – and in some cases going back to ITB – Dickins has also represented Mumford & Sons, Little Simz, Olivia Rodrigo, Rex Orange County and Sault, amongst others.

There has been no reason given for her departure and her next role is yet to be confirmed. Hits suggested Dickins may be heading to CAA, which recently recruited former WME partner Dave Bradley.
“Over the past seven years, Lucy helped us navigate one of the most disruptive periods in the live music business,” wrote Christian Muirhead in the memo to WME staff. “As the head of our UK office, she re-energised our presence in London, built a strong team, and solidified WME’s leadership in the region. Then Covid hit and she dove right in, taking on her expanded role, relocating to Los Angeles, and providing critical support to our team during an unprecedented crisis.
“On the other side of the pandemic, she led major signings, constructed innovative tour models, and brought exceptional heart and enthusiasm to our business.”
Kirk Sommer will continue to lead the contemporary music division as senior partner and global head of contemporary music and touring.
