The UK live music sector has a new agency.
Music Week can reveal that former WME, CAA and UTA agent Billy Wood has launched HAUS23, a boutique “artist-first” live agency.
A former Music Week 30 Under 30 star, Woods – who is now in his 20th year in the music industry – began his career straight out of university, discovering emerging talent including N-Dubz, Chipmunk and Tinie Tempah, before moving to WME as an agent in 2010.
During his time at WME, UTA and CAA, Wood represented a wide range of artists, including Alexis Jordan, Angel Haze, Mindless Behavior, Pia Mia, Tinchy Stryder and Section Boyz, before going on to represent the legendary Run-DMC.

Wood now returns to the music industry after a brief stint working in the football world with Hastings FC. HAUS23 has been co-founded alongside Scout Creatives.
Speaking about the launch of HAUS23, Wood said: “After Covid, I was burnt out. I stepped back, took a gamble and gave the sport I love a real go. We had some great success, but I never lost touch with the music world; promoters, label execs, fellow agents. I was still getting calls from former clients and artists looking for advice. The bug never left me. That break has made me hungry again, in fact excited. After meeting Alex and Tom at Scout Creatives, it's was evident they believed in my vision and I am excited to be working with them in delivering Haus23. While we’re ambitious, our focus is simple: delivering step by step for the artists and touring brands who put their trust in us.”
Based in London, HAUS23 has launched with a "diverse and growing roster" that includes Angel, Dutch & Graft (The Manor), Mindless Behavior, Pure Garage, and current No.5 on Spotify Viral 50 chart, Liam C.
