FKP Scorpio has appointed Tim Salvesen as international promoter within its international touring & artist development division.
Salvesen has been with FKP Scorpio Norway for several years, building a diverse roster that includes artists such as Olivia Dean, Mac DeMarco, Ethel Cain and Berlioz.
In his new role, Salvesen who is based in Oslo, will work closely with teams across all FKP offices on international tours, while continuing to promote shows in Norway.
“The combined talent of our colleagues across Europe is something that I’ve seen first-hand while working at the company,” said Salvesen “There are a lot of very smart, creative, and good people in our group whom I’m looking forward to working more closely with.”
Rauha Kyyrö, president of FKP international touring & artist development, added: “Tim has an exceptional skill to recognise talent before everyone else catches up on it. I am beyond excited to further develop our working relationship on international touring.”
Also joining the international team are Lisa Lindfors (Stockholm) and Veera Valtonen (Helsinki) as project coordinators. Lindfors has experience from the UK (Communion One), Sweden (Jubel) and South Korea (Culture Think), while Valtonen has a background working at festivals and venues, having most recently finished up a European tour with Manowar and worked at Fullsteam Agency.
These appointments come as FKP Scorpio continues to expand internationally.
At the core of the international strategy is a team of head promoters working together with the international team to drive touring and festival operations across the group. The group currently consists of Filip Potocki, Gideon Karting, Xenia Grigat, Aino-Maria Paasivirta, Inga Esseling, Stephan Thanscheidt, Age Versluis, Stian Pride, Chris Rotenius, Daniel Ealam, Scott O’Neill, Carlo Scarampi and Mazin Tappuni.
In 2025 FKP Scorpio has sold over a million tickets to 22 shows with Ed Sheeran alone, generating 100 million in ticket sales.
FKP Scorpio’s founder and CEO, Folkert Koopmans, added: “With the strengthening of our international team, we are taking a decisive step closer to our goal of expanding the global presence of the FKP Scorpio Group. With the people and structure now in place, we can identify and pursue new touring opportunities across Europe and worldwide even more strategically and effectively – in close partnership with other industry leaders.”
