Oak View Group (OVG) has appointed Simon Hanna as senior vice president of operations.
Hanna has more than 15 years of strategic leadership experience in global hospitality, live events and venue operations, most recently as chief operating officer at Freemans Event Partners.
In his new role, Hanna will oversee the operational delivery of OVG’s expanding portfolio of live entertainment venues, including Co-op Live.
He will work closely with Rebecca Kane Burton, executive vice president of venue management for OVG International and Michalis Fragkiadakis, senior vice president of hospitality strategy for OVG International, to boost the fan experience, drive commercial performance and lead innovation across the business.
Hanna has played a leading role in delivering large-scale operations for landmark events such as the Paris Olympics 2024 and the Rome Ryder Cup 2023, as well as working at venues including Wembley, Murrayfield, Cheltenham Racecourse and Lord’s.
