CAA recruits James Simmons as agent in Global Touring division

CAA has recruited James Simmons as an agent in the Global Touring division. He will be based in the agency’s London office.

It follows recent appointments at CAA including Lucy Dickins, along with David Bradley and Nikos Kazoleas in the Global Touring division in the London office.

Simmons was previously at WME, where he worked with artists including Mumford & Sons, Little Simz, James Blake, Nilüfer Yanya, Louis Dunford and Rex Orange County, among others. He began his career at International Talent Booking (ITB).

“We’re very pleased to welcome James to the team,” said Emma Banks, CAA’s co-head of global touring. “He’s built strong momentum in the live space, with experience supporting arena tours across the UK and Europe and contributing to major stadium shows, including Wembley and key venues in Australia.

“He brings fresh perspective, great instincts and a strong network, which will be invaluable as we continue to grow opportunities for our artists across the UK and beyond.”

CAA’s Global Touring division has overseen negotiations, bookings and worldwide coordination on major tours. Highlights include Garth Brooks headlining BST Hyde Park in June 2026; multiple headliners at All Points East in London, including Lorde and Twenty One Pilots, as well as Jorja Smith and Tems co-headlining; coordinating a massive headlining tour for David Guetta; and booking sold-out stadium runs for Harry Styles, The Weeknd and System Of A Down.

CAA also secured major 2026 festival headlining appearances for its artists around the world, including Charli XCX, Tate McRae and Olivia Dean, who make up the majority of the headliners for Lollapalooza Chicago 2026. Charli XCX and Florence And The Machine are also headlining Reading and Leeds, while Sabrina Carpenter, Deftones, Riize, Djo and Lorde recently played Lollapalooza South America.

The division continues to build and expand the careers of breakout artists including Babymetal, Conan Gray, Mau P, Olivia Dean, Bad Omens, Tate McRae and Young Miko, among others.
