Time for a round of applause, everyone.
BRITs Week for War Child has announced that its 2026 series of gigs has been the biggest in its history, raising £1.16 million across this year’s 12 shows. This total takes the amount raised for War Child by BRITs Week, since its inception in 2009, to over £9.16 million.
This year's series took place around The BRIT Awards 2026 on Saturday, February 28 in Manchester. This year, DHL returned as War Child’s partner for BRITs Week 26. Buildhollywood also kindly donated outdoor advertising space across London and Manchester to support this year’s shows.
Speaking about this year’s events, Clare Sanders-Wright, head of live music at War Child UK said: “£1.16 million is a phenomenal amount of money to raised, and by all measures, this year was our biggest yet since the inception of BRITs Week. This money will help us to support thousands of children impacted by the travesties of war across the globe with our vital work, helping them not just to survive conflicts, but thrive despite them. The phenomenal success of the shows this year wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible artists and their teams that have been so generous, as well as the teams at BPI, AEG, DHL, and of course my incredible colleagues at War Child who never fail to amaze with their hard work. Thank you to you all as well as the amazing music fans who came to the shows, bought merch, donated, and entered our prize draws – we couldn’t do this without you!”

With the BRIT Awards and four of the BRITs Week shows being held in Manchester, the city and surrounding regions came alive. The artists and their teams who donate their time and commitment to support is testament to the power of music.”
