Dua Lipa is preparing for two huge Wembley Stadium shows this weekend (June 20-21).
The Radical Optimism World Tour also includes dates at Anfield Stadium (June 24-25) and Dublin’s Aviva Stadium (June 27). It follows Dua Lipa’s Glastonbury headline performance in 2024.
Speaking in the latest edition of Music Week for our live headliners feature, Dua Lipa’s manager and father Dugi Lipa said stadiums are a natural progression for the Radical Optimism star.
“In 2022, we had the Future Nostalgia shows and they were just phenomenal and since then we’ve been thinking, ‘How can we continuously grow and adapt and elevate what a Dua Lipa show can look like?’” he said. “Dua has an incredible presence and makes these huge places feel very intimate, she retains that connection with the audience. With the demand for the shows, stadiums were the next step, a perfect home for Dua.”
Establishing her as a stadium act is the key thing for us

Wembley Stadium is a key moment in the Radical Optimism Tour for Dua Lipa. A London pop-up store will operate over the weekend at Protein Studios, 31 New Inn Yard, EC2.
“Wembley is a landmark for any artist,” Dugi Lipa told Music Week. “Let alone for somebody who was born and raised just a few miles away. I can see the Wembley arch from my house. It is a dream come true.”
Dugi Lipa said this summer’s shows will lay the foundations to establish his daughter as one of the world’s biggest pop stars.
“People who’ve parted with their hard-earned money to come and see Dua, they’ll come and have a great time,” he says. “Establishing her as a stadium act is the key thing for us.”
