AEG International’s Global Partnerships team – the sponsorship and premium seating division of AEG – has made nine senior promotions as part of a team restructure.
The move is designed to “strengthen partner experience and enhance global alignment as it expands its channel and market offerings,” according to a statement.
Amid ever-growing demand for live entertainment experiences, AEG’s senior leadership team will continue to work to connect brands with consumers across the business’ portfolio of venues and events.
With a combined tenure of more than a century, the new senior leaders have risen through the ranks and have been instrumental in the growth of the business.
After 18 years within the organisation, Georgina Iceton has been promoted to senior vice president, Global Partnerships, AEG International, with a focus on driving global synergy that will allow brands to elevate their partnerships and optimise fan engagement across markets. Iceton also continues to lead the strategic roll-out of partnerships across AEG International’s portfolio of UK assets, including The O2.
Will Dowdy has been promoted to senior vice president, Global Partnerships, AEG Presents and will oversee the partnerships sales division for the company’s venues, tours and festivals in the UK and France. He will draw on more than 15 years’ experience at AEG to assess new opportunities for both AEG Presents and its clients.

Matthew Zweck assumes the role of senior vice president, AEG Global Partnerships, AEG International, with a focus on the company’s assets in Asia Pacific, as well as assuming oversight of the Middle East. Based in Australia, Zweck has played a key role in securing partnerships across the company’s growing portfolio of venues, including IG Arena in Nagoya, Japan; UOB Live in Bangkok; and the landmark Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai.
In addition to Iceton, Dowdy and Zweck’s promotions, six additional team members have been promoted as vice presidents with expanded remits. This includes Laura Palairet, Matt Botten and Liana Mellotte, working across UK venues under AEG International, with Mellotte also leading AXS partnership sales; Ollie Blake focusing on Global Partnerships strategy for AEG International; and Carla Morini and Katie Cavanagh leading Global Partnerships for venues, festivals and events under AEG Presents UK.
Paul Samuels, president, Global Partnerships at AEG International, said: “Our business continues to grow, and with growth comes the need for a strong, steady executive team to navigate new opportunities. It’s a pleasure to see trusted, long-standing team members step into these leadership roles. Their deep knowledge of AEG’s business, understanding of our clients, and passion for reimagining our offerings position us for continued success as we expand. I’m proud to lead a team that balances bold inspiration with a steady, reliable hand.”
