Yungblud lands second No.1 of 2025 with Aerosmith collaboration

Yungblud lands second No.1 of 2025 with Aerosmith collaboration

Yungblud has landed his second No.1 of the year in the UK album charts with One More Time (Island), a collaborative EP with Aerosmith.

One More Time debuted at the summit with consumption of 22,394 units (Official Charts Company), including 21,362 physical copies, 662 downloads and 370 sales-equivalent streams.

It comes in the wake of the No.1 result for Yungblud’s fourth album Idols in June, the day before he headlined The National Bowl in Milton Keynes for Bludfest

One More Time follows No.1 results for Idols (2025), self-titled 2022 album Yungblud and 2020’s Weird. It also marks Aerosmith’s first ever UK No.1 album.

This summer saw Yungblud perform to 40,000 fans at Villa Park including a rendition of Black Sabbath’s Changes, which charted in the UK.

He recently performed a medley of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne tracks with Aerosmith at the VMAs in New York

Yungblud has been nominated for three Grammy Awards in the rock categories (Best Rock Album, Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song), making him the first British artist to achieve this and placing him alongside the likes of Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Foo Fighters.

This EP bridges generations, pushes boundaries, and proves that great rock music keeps evolving

Tom March

Speaking about achieving his second UK No.1 of the year, Yungblud said: “No words can express how grateful I am for this… my second No.1 of 2025. Massive love to everyone who supported this record in the name of rock and roll. Aerosmith has been part of the soundtrack to my life. Thank you to Joe and Steven for riding with me - I can’t believe we made a record together!”

He added: “This is the cherry on top of a f*cking crazy, emotional rollercoaster of a year. Bring on 2026!”

Yungblud is signed to Locomotion and Capitol in the US, with Island as the UK label partner.

To watch him grow into a genuine global rock star before our eyes, and to have played a small part in his rise, is a pleasure and a privilege

Louis Bloom

Capitol Music Group’s CEO Tom March said: “Scoring their first UK No.1 at this stage in their legendary career is an extraordinary moment for Aerosmith, and doing it with a fearless talent like Yungblud makes it even more special. This EP bridges generations, pushes boundaries, and proves that great rock music keeps evolving. It’s a testament to the band’s enduring power and Yungblud’s unstoppable momentum. Together, they’ve created a cultural moment – and we couldn’t be more thrilled to celebrate it.”

Louis Bloom, president of Island EMI Label Group, said: “Huge congratulations to Aerosmith and Dom (Yungblud) on the success of One More Time, which has to be the collaboration of 2025! We are all delighted to see this debut at the top of the charts helping Dom score his second No.1 of the year and giving the legendary Aerosmith their first UK No.1. This collaboration is testament to both artists’ incredible passion and creativity and their absolute belief in the enduring power of rock music.

“Dom came into the label just a year ago and laid out his manifesto there and then for the year ahead. Inspired by his vision, the label matched his ambition and enthusiasm and a year later we couldn’t be prouder of the success he has enjoyed in 2025. To watch him grow into a genuine global rock star before our eyes, and to have played a small part in his rise, is a pleasure and a privilege.”
