Women’s leadership programme Music Leaders Network has opened applications for September 2025.
Applicants of the this year's programme will be joining a network of 90 people from across the music industry, with alumni including leaders from FUGA, Polydor, September Management, PPL, PRS For Music, AIM Ireland and Blue Raincoat Music, as well as freelance music creators.
Led by Remi Harris MBE and Tamara Gal-On, Music Leaders Network is the only UK leadership programme that brings together women, trans and non-binary people from across the industry with five to 25 years of experience in the business, establishing them in a deliberate peer-to-peer network with the aim to transform their career development.
“This is the sixth year of Music Leaders Network and we are absolutely seeing the impact of the programme on our participants, their wider network and the music industry,” said Harris MBE. “Music Leaders Network attracts ambitious people who want to grow and become the best version of themselves – they are taking on big challenges. They are having to do things they have never done before in an industry that is going through massive changes. Having the support of dedicated coaching and time to grow as a leader is invaluable. We’ve seen it with our 90 alumni – the combination of transformational coaching, peer-to-peer support and a built-in network is helping our alumni become better, more effective leaders.”
Gal-On commented: “It’s what happens after the 12 weeks of coaching that really means the most to me – people are reaching director level, people are working together, people are becoming leaders in the music industry and lifting other leaders up too. Music Leaders Network is building its own legacy and that's the joy of it, that’s the thing that really makes an industry wide impact.”
Applications for the programme open today, Friday March 28 for the September 2025 cohort via the Music Leaders Network webpage and close on Friday June 13.
The founders will again provide discretionary bursaries to help with costs for self-employed participants and those working for charities.
For those considering taking a place on the programme, online Q&A events will be available April 9 at 10am BST, April 30 at 2pm BST and May 20 at 12pm BST, where prospective participants or businesses can ask questions about the programme.
