The new set-up is designed to encourage closer collaboration with the artist and manager community, alongside the wider Universal label roster and company. The “multi-dimensional support system for artists” includes bespoke events, well-being, artist liaison and tailored experiences to help artists.

Rebecca Allen said: “With Shiarra at the helm, and Hannah and Ali by her side, this future-facing team are set to bring a new level of creativity and support to our artists and label teams.”

Shiarra Bell began her career in management, working with All Saints, Sugababes and B*Witched. She then moved to Polydor, working in artist relations with acts including Eminem, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez, NERD, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Queens Of The Stone Age and more. She then moved into events, and has recently served as head of talent, working closely with Globe and Mercury Studios.

Hannah Lamb began as an intern in the artist relations department 10 years ago, while Ali Golembo previously served at EMI as promotions intern.

After nearly three decades at Universal Music UK, current director of UK Artist Relations – and Music Week Women In Music Awards Roll Of Honour inductee – Claire Haffenden has decided to leave the company in the Spring to launch her own concierge and events business.

Speaking about Haffenden's contribution, Universal Music UK CEO & chairman Dickon Stainer said: “Claire has been at the heart of our company for many years, and has consistently delivered on the biggest stage for some of the world’s biggest artists, a service built on many years of trust and through the wonderful team she has nurtured. We wish her the very best for the adventures ahead and I’m looking forward to seeing what the new team will achieve.”
