Universal Music Korea targets domestic and global success for new signing Lim Kim

Universal Music Korea has exclusively signed singer-songwriter Lim Kim. 

“Known for her unique voice, genre-defying sound, and bold visual identity, Lim Kim has established herself as a versatile presence in Korea’s music, fashion and cultural scenes,” said a statement.

Lim Kim joins a Universal Music Korea roster including Dean, Heyoon, Okasian and Bryan Chase.

She debuted in 2011 as a member of the duo group Togeworl through talent show Superstar K3. In 2013, she launched her solo career with the EP, A Voice, whose title track All Right topped the charts. 

In 2019, she released the single sal-Ki and an EP, Generasian, which won Best Song and Dance Electronic Album at the 17th Korean Music Awards.

Generasian tracks Yellow and Yo-Soul were featured as mission songs on TV dance contents Street Woman Fighter 2, choreographed by the 1Million Dance Studio. This collaboration extended into 2024 with 1Million choreographing for her single ULT.

Beyond music, Lim Kim has emerged as a fashion and beauty icon, including as the face of beauty brand Hera.
