Transgressive has moved early to sign British-Indonesian artist Nadia Kadek.
The 22-year-old singer-songwriter is yet to officially release any music, but has already won early support from BBC Introducing. She reached the shortlist of last year’s Glastonbury Emerging Talent competition, resulting in a debut appearance at the festival.
In the past week, Kadek has been highlighted by NME as one of their Best Acts at The Great Escape. Future 2025 live dates include BST Hyde Park, Latitude and Pitchfork London, as well as a return to Glastonbury Festival.
A debut single for the label, Feeling It All, will be released this week (May 28).
Commenting on the signing, Nadia Kadek said: “I had no doubt that Transgressive’s passion for creativity would make it the right home for my music. I was drawn to their independent values from the first meeting, and I’m really excited to start my journey with them!”

“Their duty of care and commitment to their roster is something they take very seriously and it’s a joy to be working with a team who are laser-focused on longevity, building artist careers and creating culture. Transgressive’s values are so clearly aligned with ours and we can’t wait to see what the future holds with them.”
More music for a debut project by Nadia Kadek has been recorded, with further announcements due shortly.
The siging comes as Transgressive is chasing a Top 5 result with the new album from Sparks.
