Sleep Token secure US No.1 album with huge streaming week for Even In Arcadia

Sleep Token's global impact continues.

Following chart-topping results for new album Even In Arcadia (RCA) in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, it’s now confirmed that the UK metal band have reached the summit in the US.

The band signed to Sony Music for this album – the innovative campaign for which is the focus of our Big Story in the new edition of Music Week.

Sleep Token’s fourth album has become their first US chart-topper and first Top 10 appearance. The anonymous masked band debuted at the summit with 127,000 equivalent album units in the US, according to LuminateThat is the biggest week by units in the US for any rock album in almost a year (since Zach Bryan’s The Great American Bar Scene), and the biggest for a hard rock album in two years (since Metallica’s 72 Seasons).

Once again, it’s the streaming result for Sleep Token that is truly impressive. In the UK the band outperformed superstar pop acts in terms of DSP consumption. In the US, Even In Arcadia secured the largest streaming week ever for a hard rock album as it stormed to the summit.

Even in Arcadia’s 127,000 first-week equivalent album units included sales of 73,500, SEA (streaming-equivalent album) units of 53,000 (68.89 million on-demand official streams) with downloads making up the rest.

The album was available across six vinyl variants, as well as a standard CD and two deluxe CD boxed sets (including a hoodie).

Sleep Token previously peaked at No.16 in the US with Take Me Back To Eden in 2023. It has amassed 819,000 units in the US to date.
